What is limestone?

This hard wearing stone, is light in colour, with a granular texture.  Limestone hearths are popular because of the modern, light look that they can give to a fireplace or stove.  

What is special about our Limestone Hearths?

Limestone combines good looks and variations which gives you the ability to find a hearth which will fit in with your overall colour scheme.  Our hearths are good scratch resistance and being light in colour, damage is very difficult to detect.The only vulnerability is damage from acids such as fruit juices. Limited protection can be
afforded by treatment but may give a shiny plastic appearance.  Handcrafted by our workmen, we source and check the material ourselves which means good quality.

How thick are the hearths?

 Only stocked in 30 mm thickness because it is not as strong as slate

We offer everything from a basic rectangle through t-shape to circular which means complete flexibility for you.A Limestone Hearth cut to size for you is exactly what you get!
