Delivery
WE DELIVER ANYWHERE IN THE UK
We have been delivering hearths throughout the UK for many years, and work with only reputable carriers who have proved themselves to us and our customers. Your order will be delivered to you via a UK-wide pallet service, typically using a lorry with tail lift and a manual pump truck. Therefore if you do have any delivery restrictions, please let us know at time of order.
Deliveries typically take between 5-7 days, however this can vary depending on time of year. Ask at time of order for a more accurate delivery time.
Delivery
Please note we can make deliveries to kerbside only, and onto level, hard standing ground (for hearths over 1800mm, a forklift is required for offloading). If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact us at time of order.
Cost
We work hard with hauliers, not only to provide the best service, but also to provide the best cost. This means lowest possible cost to pass onto our customers.

Packaging
Our products are properly packaged to minimize the possibility of damage. Upon receipt of your order, you must open packaging and inspect your order prior to accepting the delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: signing ‘Not inspected’ is not accepted
Claims
In the unlikely event that you do have to make a claim, this must be noted on the delivery paperwork and raised with Stone Source staff within 24 hours of delivery. Claims will not be entertained without photographic evidence accompanied by a received “damaged” document.
Collection
Should you on the other hand want to collect yourself or arrange your own carrier we will be happy to see you at our Inverness depot – 17 Carsegate Road, Inverness IV3 8EX where we would always endeavor to get the completed product to you as soon as possible!
Please note that we always package your order as best we see fit, to try and ensure safe arrival. Should you or your courier have specific requirements, please inform us at the time of order, as once the order has been collected by your courier, we cannot be responsible for any breakages or damages to the product.
Installation
We do not install hearths or sell stoves but will of course be happy to advise on the choice of stone and how to best install the unit In our experience most stones can be installed for stoves in a single piece but we recommend you check with your installer as to whether expansion joints are needed especially if it is for an open fire.
Care of Your Hearth
Each type of stone requires different care to keep it looking its best. We will advise you on this and provide what you need.
